by Gail BowmanDo you ever ask God, “Why?” God’s understanding (his point of view) is so far above ours, that we probably wouldn’t be able to comprehend the answer, even if we got it. That doesn’t stop us from wanting, needing, to know the answer, though, does it?
It is most important to spend time with God when you are stuck in a gully. When the Israelites were wandering in the wilderness, God didn’t just leave them alone. He walked with them, showing them the way. Do not turn away from Him because you do not understand. The real answer to the question is: God is sovereign and knows why he needs you to be where you are right now. Trust Him. He loves you, and you are blessed above all other people because you have hope for eternity in Jesus Christ our Lord.
