Laughter is the best medicine. A doctor once wrote me a prescription to, “Read the funny papers two times per day with 8 ounces of water”.
Look for the funny things in your life. Watch kittens play, watch a four-year-old do a summersault, read the funny papers, read funny books, watch funny movies. Laugh out loud!
Sometimes it is easy to focus on the negative side of our circumstance, but it is really important to refocus on the positive. So, break away, break out, and go for a walk. Get some sun on your face, take some vitamin D and some vitamin B. Get out of the house and go where you can watch people being themselves. Then walk up to a stranger and say, “Hi!” just for fun.
Psalm 126: 2-3
Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations,“The Lord has done great things for them.”The Lord has done great things for us,and we are filled with joy.
